Default Debrix emulator adaptor for Pointy?

Does anyone here make the adaptor to fit the debrix emulator to pointy forks?

Cheers

Hi YC,

I was looking to get some emulators and fit them to my 07 pointy. How much would it be for a set of the adaptors?

Cheers

£40 plus postage for mods to damper rod. I weld up rebound hole, increase comp holes and fit spacer. I don't sell spacer separate.

I can send you some modded then you send your originals back if you're needing a bike to be back on the road immediately or something.

Good stuff, I've had a few people ask for just the adaptors on their own but there are people better set to do them than me so it isn't worth the hassle for what people would be willing to pay to do them on my antique lathe.

Hence I offer the rods because I can spend a weekend and get a few ready

Fair enough m8, time is money and all that.

Might not be sorted after all anyone else able to rustle them up? Perhaps if you can you could tie into the group buy thread and do a batch for people wanting to fit them to pointys?

Cheers

Next time I do a couple I'll mic them all up and see if they can be made all the same.

The slight sticking point is I make them an interference fit and I don't really want hassle when somebody tries to fit them with a lump hammer and knackers their rods. That would knock everyone else back from the nice arrangement of doing them as exchange/return your old rods which relies on a lump of good faith.

True, would they have to be an absolute interference fit though? As long as they hold the emulator centrally could you get away with a drop in fit?

Anyone have a diagram with dimensions for these things? If i can find someone with a lathe i am sure i could get them made up or even do it myself but just dont have the tooling available to me (must resist buying a lathe LOL)

There are dimensions (pointy):

External Diameter - 27.0mm
Internal Diameter - 23.95mm
Length - 7.5mm

But I decided to use a type of strong thermopolastic material instead as all that's needed is a seal between the rod and valve.

I finally managed to source someone locally to do it and he did a good job as the adapter/spacer is rigid enough to create a seal but flexible enough to fit into the rod without becoming loose. The measurements above worked for me.

On another note, I'm about to put up a thread for the sale of my entire front end including progrssive springs, emulator and adaptor.
