there are any number of them out there, forcesheild and Knox are probably two of the best known, however comfort is probably the best quality as it'll mean you actually use it, so the right size is important.
Most textile & leather jackets have an insert as a back protector, but these can be pretty basic, both the companies above make replacement inserts which are much better quality, it's worth check your jacket to see what's in there as it can be anything from a bit of foam to hard rubber. Yeah, Ive got a Richa jacket and all thats in there is a bit of foam, its practically useless.
I went down to my local bike store today and all they stock is Dianese and they were all far too big, so forcefield... I'll check it out, cheers! I guess it's best to by in store than online to check for size. |
