Default Which to choose?

I'm trying to sell my car, and a bike dealer has approached me saying that I can choose any of the bikes he's selling as part-payment for my car.

I can choose from any that he's selling. Which do you think I should take?

The V-strom. Low miles and the newest of the lot.
Maybe not the most exciting but a dependable steed none the less.

Unless you actually want one of the bikes (and if you did I guess you wouldn't be asking us) I'd take a couple of the smaller bikes like the 125s as they are going to be easier to move on. And another thing, I wouldn't let him value them at what he is selling them for but insist on the book trade value only, unless of course he is offering you the full showroom retail value for your car?

Also, unless you're trade, you will then be registering the bike(s) before you sell them? Punters are going to look at you very oddly if you're not the registered keeper (assuming they ask!) and if you do register them you're devaluing them by adding another owner. Allow for this in your deliberations.
