Exhaust Value and paint questions - SV650.org

Afternoon all! Once again I'm in need of the mighty Orgs help..

A few questions, what are people's thoughts on the value of my exhaust ? It's a blue flame, carbon fibre tipped with high level pipe, slightly crap picture below.

Second question - I'm going to be painting my front fork lowers black, is there a specific paint I should use? Is there anything that would stop it chipping or corroding/coming off like the standard paint does.

Hi mate, i looked at a can either the same as this or very similar to at the nec last month, was around 175, so depending on condition is just take a bit off of that and try my luck!

In terms of the paint, I would look at preparation instructions for alloy wheels. The fork lowers are an aluminium alloy and will almost certainly do best with some kind of etch primer and then a fairly tough paint over the top of that. Again have a look for instructions on painting alloy wheels and you should find recommended brands.
