Default New Year Bargain - Honda Hornet

Hi Folks,

SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

I am changing my bike again, back to an SV but this time a pointy. I've had 5 curvy's in my time but feel it's time to try the other side. So therefore, I have my main bike for sale.

1998 Honda Hornet
Less than 12k Genuine Miles
v5c in my name
6 months Tax
6-8 months MOT
1 Key
Lot's of paperwork (service book) and MOT's to verify mileage
Consumables in OK condition
Sparkly blue colour - professionally resprayed as it was used as someone's show bike hence very low miles.

Accessories include LED Clear rear brake light, tail tidy, Givi top box ARMS (no plate or top box), Beowulf race can (& baffle)

Description:
I have used this bike as my daily commuter in Belgium for 4 months now. 100% reliable. I always take care to clean them so corrosion is minimal, especially for a Hornet. It was a bike that someone used as their show bike. Hence the respray ion sparkly, glittery blue and the low mileage. Paintwork is good but has a few blemishes here and there. It also has Blue LED's installed but I disconnected these for legality reasons. Whilst I use this bike everyday, it does have 2 points which depending on the new owner, they may wish to address:

1 - Upon starting, it needs a ickle bit of throttle maintained for about 20 seconds before it idles. I really have not tried to resolve this as I don't see it as an issue. The previous owner stripped and cleaned the carbs before he sold it so I think it's just a case of balancing them if it really bothered you.

2 - There is 'minor play' in the throttle & clutch cables, they would need adjusting depending on your preference.

I would like £900 for this bike. You won't find a better condition hornet for this price. Delivered to anyone/anywhere in London on Tuesday 7th January ONLY. I have a habit of selling my bikes below market value simply to get them shifted. I buy them cheap and sell them cheap. the only other question I think someone can have is why the specific date? Well I intend to ride over to London to get my new bike - I would like to ride this to a new owner and get rid of it as I don't need 2 bikes. But if I don't find a buyer, I will get the eurostar over instead and just sell this in Belgium (for more... potentially)
