you have throttle bodies with fuel injection, they provide the chamber for the injected fuel to mix with the airflow, as you say you've removed the "Carbs", then you don't have an injected bike
![]() As to "where" the restrictor washers are; they sit between the carbs and the cylinder head intake in the rubber connector and should be clearly visable. Funnily enough I'll be down at the Oakdene later this morning and off to Maidstone later, so in your part of the world.

I'm not so far away from you (Orpington). If you want to pop over and i'll give you a hand, you're more than welcome.
Knowing what year your bike is would be a help too. |

As it is now confirmed as a fuel injected bike, before going further can you also confirm it is definitely restricted via intake restricting washers and throttle stop, and not by the restricted fuel injection control unit?
If it's been restricted by the second method, there are no washers to remove.

As sid says.
What makes you think its restricted via washers? There are several methods. If you cant find the washers, check the serial number on the ecu (i think theres a thread on here listing them of you do a search) you may find its a restricted ecu. |

Definitely restricted by washers got the paper work with it done by these http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/321285302588?nav=SEARCH&sbk=1 don't think it has a throttle stop just washer just can't find where it is.
Thanks for your help Last edited by benattah; 25-01-14 at 03:24 AM. |

The thing that your calling the 'carbs' id actually your throttle body. The entire mechanism.
Carburettor bikes (curvy) have carbed, fuel injected bikes (pointy) have throttle bodys. So then, try gentley lifting the throttle bodies off the engine (it wont come far due to cables etc) and in those 2 circular holes, you may find 2 little stainless steel washers. (Thats where they are on a curvy, and i cant see why it would be different on yours) Hope this helps |
