Default Oxford sport lifetime panniers fit K3?

Hi,

I've seen these advertised but can anyone tell me if they have tried them and if they would fit a naked K3 without problens. I am concerned that they may foul the exhaust.

Are they a pair like mine?

If so then they fit fine, even with a different end can. Watch out if you have custom indicators because they can be damaged by a heavy load in the panniers.

Thanks Jayne. The ones I saw were similar but small capacity. I was just concerned whether they would end up too close to the can.

Eewww..... Are those continental tyres :/ they're yucky and horrible and wear too fast and slip about in the wet.

Got Conti's on mine as well. No trouble in the wet. In fact, I rode them fresh from the fitting in the wet as well with no crashes!

What a derail, I love my Conti tyres, but then I am not exactly a knee down hell for leather rider. For my type of riding they are lovely, confidence inspiring and grippy even in the wet.

As you can see I tend to ride with luggage, run my tyres at 36PSI on the rear and try not to brake too hard causing tyre wear through slides and skids. I have never done a burn out at Bike Night, no not ever, nor have I ever pulled away so hard the front wheel touches the sky. I am a gentle little old lady and ride like I am knitting a jumper and have never had a problem with these tyres.

Some of the above may be lies, the tyres are great though. I have used other brands and keep coming back to these for my bike because they just work so well.

Anyway, back on track... Oxford sports panniers are great, hold lots of stuff and clear the can on a standard bike with ease. However, the beading inside the bags and the zips do wear out and will need replacing eventually.

I got the sports ones on the RSV but they were close to the zorst.
They have lots of adjustment.
Put a anti slip mat between the body pannles and bags.
If they are new they come with a matt
