Anyone seen/driven one of these?

Just mixed it up with one on a bit of dual carriage way and roundabouts.

That thing is outstandingly rapid! I mean I know the sv isn't the quickest or fastest but I haven't had issues with any other cars previously and this thing whooped my ass.

Incredible bit of kit.

Yes it looks sexier than Hugh Jackman smothered in chocolate custard, I saw one last week while looking for a used 7. However, it fails spectacularly in that it does not have a secret sweetie compartment. I'd still have one though. Just to drive to Sainsburys. What do they cost, any idea?

No idea, the BMW site is extremely vague on that particular point!

But yes it is in fact much better looking in the flesh, the blue works well.

try racing a ford focus ST and see how you get on. i had one up my chuffer and could not shake it. in fact i think the focus would have eaten the SV no problem.

Haven't met an ST rolling yet but met a few in and around town, didn't fair too badly. Although one was actually an unmarked copper...

Thankfully I only played with him within the speed limit and was safe. Having a camera showing him behaving worse than me prob also helped.

Just shy of £100k :P I would expect a 100k car to destroy an sv to be fair, cool cars.

Yeah I know, the sv isn't the best out there but it's held it's own against some decent cars before. Porches, Ferrari's etc. granted I usually wait till I will have an advantage hehe

You're into serious licence losing territory trying to outrun one of these but it can be done quite easily..........OK, maybe not on an SV but with 140RWHP then yes. On a private road of course as I would never condone such a thing on a public road

Both driven and beaten one, the later being not at massively high speed. They're pretty basic cars underneath TBH, nothing special. And FWD <<<<WTF is that about.

A RS6 on the otherhand, it will make an SV look like a pushbike.
