Canon 7D on Amazon lightning deal at 5pm tonight

Hmmm... A quick comparison of the £699 Amazon "deal" shows that this is the normal price on the Jessops and Wex websites right now. Some internet shops are down to just over £600 too. The 7D is several years old now and the Mark2 version is out hence the lowering prices.
Not suggesting it would be a poor choice but I do question the sales tactics.

Amazon's deal price is £624, not great as you say but the deal price isn't known until it goes live 22% sold so far so guess it isn't selling quick either. Ah well, might've been a good deal.

Nice one! You'll probably need to add 2/3 stop compensation on the rear dial. It's a 6D thing apparently.
