Hi Guys,
Does anyone know what chain length I need for a 15 46 520 spocket with a Renthal RR4 520 chain. I has 120 links but not sue what length to cut it to Thanks |

Finally changed my chain.
The front sprocket nut is a pig to get off. Just need to make sure the washer is made flat and bent round the nut a lot. I used a large wrench and put my right foot on the rear brake and stamped on the wrench to lossen the nut. Use a chain tool to break the chain and attached the new link and all now set up. Took about 90 mins in total but could do in 45 next time. |

bit late but how to get the correct linkage size if the chain is over sized.
make sure that your wheel is all the way forward on the adjusters, feed the chain on to the sprockets so the end that goes over the top of the swingarm is in the middle at the back of the rear sprocket then take the bottom part of the chain and mate it up with the other end on the rear sprocket making sure that there is no slack on the top or bottom of the chain. mark the pin you have to remove with a marker then remove the excess links. |
