Hi all, anyone got any pics of where you have mounted your gopro or the like? I've tried it on my helmet but think I would prefer it on the bike. Cheers

I don't have an sv but I have a nice rear footrest mount that I made up with an old alloy tax disk holder. I can get some photos of that if you want. it takes seconds to blot it on under the footrest and it gives nice rearward footage.

Haven't got pics of where I put it, but here is a little vid I made with the Drift Ghost S and the suction mount.
http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=211226 I just went out and had a play. Trying lots of different angles. Some worked, some didn't. I did have it tied to the handle bars/under the seat cowl etc just in case the mount came off! I had visions of me stoping and the camera nowhere to be seen. |

Same here. You can move your head to capture different angles. It can be a bit 'bouncy' but the worst can be edited out later. Just did a few days in Wales and am very pleased with the final results. |

I've got one my helmet but also I've got the flat mount on the front fairing about 3cm about the right headlight unit, works quite well and you get a good view of the road and shows you the amount of lean on the bike.

I still haven't been near the bike to get you a photo. Maybe at the weekend I can get down there...

Thought I'd bump this instead of starting a new thread.
Do gopros on SVs suffer badly from vibration? Ideally I'd avoid helmet mounted. I'd rather put it on the bike (full faired SV650S) |
