Default Is my speedo knackered?

Had to get a new speedo sensor fitted after it broke when i was getting new tyres, took 3 weeks to arrive. Its working now the only thing is i could swear that its not telling me the right speed, can anyone give me an idea of what speed i should be doing in whatever gear and whatever revs. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks

11000rpm in first = 68mph
7500 in sixth = 125mph

Politely ask a traffic unit if they'll clock you... My mate did this when his vespa's speedo went, he bodged on a bicycle speedo and wanted to make sure it was working

Don't you mean, “installed a cost effective legal, alternate speed measuring device".

Cheers Mark.

Well, it was attached with clothespegs, so I think I'd have to go with "bodged"

that's good, because we used Araldite and cable ties, to do a "professional" job.

Cheers Mark.

All the top race teams use Araldite...
