Default Brake calliper bolts HELP!!!!

Brake calliper bolts

It has been pointed out to me that the kits I have sent out the brake calliper bolts threads are the wrong pitch sorry for the **** up on my behalf I will post out free of charge replacements as soon as I get a new box from one of my suppliers if anybody knows the right thread pitch could you PM me. My problem was I had to give the bike back before I had them and the ones sent to me were wrong. Typical that the sv650 is the only one to use 10mm bolts and I got it wrong.
I have on file all the names and address of the ones who have paid me I will post up when you will be receiving your replacements.

Anyone else found they fitted fine? They were spot on for me, that's K1 forks but an '00 swingarm and brake mount, and no probs with either end... It's possible I've just cut myself a new thread, of course, but since all 6 bolts fitted without any real difficulty (tightened up fine with a 6 inch ratchet, and torqued up fine as well, didn't seem to be anything amiss...)

Default Caliper bolts

My rear caliper bolts were fine, but the front ones wouldn't fit. I could have forced them but on checking with a thread gauge the originals were 1.25mil pitch as against 1.5mil supplied. I have PMd Chewy. Otherwise the kit is great. Lol.

Regarding the front calliper mounting bolts I am now having to have them custom made to suit as I cant get them off the shelf will let you all know when I have them ready then will post out to those who have paid me already.
I also understand that bolt 19 on the water pump cover is the wrong size this will also be sent out and the button head bolt for the brake res should be 16mm not the 20mm I sent out, this will also be corrected soon as I have them now on order.
Also I will be replacing the one for under the triple clamp for the 20mm not the 10mm I sent.
I hope this is to your satisfaction please pm me with any comments also still some kits to pay for and plenty more to go around.

Yup, went back and checked mine and I've cut myself a nice clean new thread in all 4 holes- those are good quality bolts, cut through Suzuki alloy like paper

They arrived yesterday so won't get the chance to fit them until the weekend. Hopefully all variations will be known by then! I'll post up any problems I get with my S K-2.

Unable to get hold of a sutable replacment for our brake caliper bolts so i have droped them from the list i will now be posting £2 each compensation plus the incorrect bolts to all who have paid.
Web site will be updated tonight should now read £34+ P&P for the kit.
This has left me out of pocket but i feel i must correct the mistake.
I will be posting money back and bolts friday morning.

Please feel free to order after tonight, thanks all for waiting.

Doesn't the service you feel you have received often seem better if a mistake is made then honestly sorted than if no mistake is made in the first place?

Top job Chewy.

Totally agreed there... It's a real shame about the caliper bolts, though, they look fantastic fitted. But I wouldn't really recommend anyone else to actually fit them, it worked out perfectly on mine but more by luck than judgement I suspect.

I spen two weeks emailing and phone and serching supplyers but the best i coud get was £1.68 EACH custom made so had to drop the caliper bolts.
I still have a few who pre orderd the kits but still to pay for. I cant afford to sit on them for to long so could you all please pay for them.
