Default Black Lenses?

Having seen a few bikes at the Nec with black lenses on the front of the bike , is there anyone who supplies them to fit the sv ?

thought it might look smart on a yellow 02.

It's illegal to colour your front lens anything other than clear and your rear anything other than red, as far as I know.

I'm not convinced that it's illegal to have it on the head lights as i'm sure it would let the same amount of light through ( presumably) .

i've emailed them to ask anyway .. i'll let you know.

unless anyone on here knows for definate that they are legal / illegal .

i dont want the screen black , just the head light lense.

Thought it was only illeagal if you had the headlights on? also if I remember right you can have a coloured screen as you do not look through it and headlights can be amber as this falls under the same colours as indicators.

could be wrong bout the screen tho.
