Default This site is not what it was VOTE !

It's just my opinion, But does anyone agree

I am finding myself having to trawl through a lot of drivel to find useful information.

combined groups for me anyway are not working. (especially the tuning and tweaking / sv talk).

and the idle banter/humour.

and it needs a chat room for those (office workers :P with easy jobs and too much time on their hands)

It has definitely gone down hill lately. I am checking the site less and less because it is harder to find good stuff to read. The good core of users is still there so the problem must be the new format.

I actually think that the site has a much better layout and is a good improvement on what it used to be. The change I think is in the people that use it. Before hand people that used the site only had one reason to be here and that was talk SV. Now, as has been mentioned before, and I agree with, everyone comes here to chat about anything and everything.

You could almost say that the success of the new format has been its downfall. The better its been getting the more people that use it. The more people that use it, means that generally speaking, its more likely that the topic of the title (the Suzuki SV) so to speak, changes. Therefore the SV is becoming a secondary point to the SV650.org site.

Personally, I would dump idle banter all together as that it seems is the forum that has attracted so many users to the site. I'm sure if Idle banter was gone then those that prefer to "chat" rather than talk about the SV would soon find elsewhere to hold their "conversations" and "cyber café's"

Is that controversial and out spoken enough

I voted "some reversion needed. (back to the old site)" by the way

i like the new layout. idle banter is not as much fun as it used to be. jokes need to be identified as jokes and i think the huge chat posts need to have their own section entitled ****e or something.

Well said nutty, my feelings exactly.

Having said that this site is a lot better than some others, and certainly a lot friendlier.
Life isn't perfect so why should this forum be any different. The minor things that niggle me I can live with, its not that big a deal.

I think that if anyone has a crticism it should be constructive and propose an alternative way of doing things.
