Maybe a silly question but gotta do it. I have full lowers on my SV which has the Suzuki crash bungs bolted too. I also purchased a crash bar from the NEC (R&G make) and wanted to fit them as well cause the other bungs dont really seem as strong as a bar would. I unbolted one side to find out that the one bolt which i thought it was, is really x2 bolts 1 from eaither side which srew into something in the middle. Now for the question, "Will the new crash "bar" slide right thou once I have taken out both sides of the bolt"? And also should I remove that weird locking nut that has 3 cuts in it? (if u know what i mean)... Has anybody done this b4, if so is there any pics to view of the finished product...

The R&G Bungs replace the engine bolt just behind the suzuki ones.
You can't miss it, it's the big meaty one that goes through the engine! |

As Haircut said the large bolt replaces the engine mounting bolt that goes right through the frame and out the other side.
The large nut with the 3 cutouts is part of the frame and should not be taken out. The R&G's are top quality kit and come very well recommended - in MHO they're money well spent. |

You will need to cut the lowers to get them to fit with the r&g's
