Pretty easy to fit a pressure switch, around £10 IIRC and you just put it in in place of one of the banjoes. You''ll need to rebleed after as well obviously.

I'm planning on going with the Woodcraft ones... I'm liking the interchangability- you can just use their backing plates and all other stock parts if you want risers (not cheap, but pretty) or you can mount their solid pegs on a stock plate, or their levers on an all-stock footrest setup, or any other combination therein. Clever. Especially when (like me) you have a hoard of spare stock levers just in case you bin it again And unlike some of the other companies, the parts are a piece of cake to source in the event of damage.

Not cheap though... Though it works out not bad if you import them from 2WJ, it seems.

Another option is rear-set plates. There is a link through svrider.com for them in the tips and tricks section. THey allow you to move the footpegs up and back 1". I believe they go for $50USD or thereabouts. (that includes longer shift rod, and hardware) Not as sexy as Metisse or Woodcrafts, but they are somewhat practical.

Here's a poor quality piccy. There is a link on the site that doesn't go anywhere. I may know of another source though. Stay tuned.......

Ok, here's the story. This is the link to someone local who sells them. I am gonna have a chat with the guy, as he is a member of another site that I frequent. His plates are worlds better than the others, as there are far more available positions. If there is enough interest, maybe I can try to arrange a group purchase or something like that, but lets not put the cart before the horse. I shall call him to day, and report back this evening (which will be really late where you lot are, as it is currently 7am here. Anyway, I'll be in touch. This is what the plates look like

Ah, yeah, the woodcaft backing plates cost a bit more than I thought $140 plus p&p. Graves do an equivalent which is cheaper, but I've never actually seen them on sale.

yup, but they've got less adjustability than most of the plates. Also they'll move your footrests out as well as up... you may or may not care about that- it'd make it harder to get my bike out of the garage

Yeah, but $25 is a lot less than $140
