Carrying on from my recent posts about trying to find an exhaust has anyone tried either the blue flame twin outlet jobbie or an akrapovic system with removable baffle? I am very tempted by Akrapovic but comes in a system and also wanna know what effect a removable baffle has on the bike. Also blue flame coloured yay or nay? Ta very much peeps

Check out the exhaust section....

Get the akrophobic. Much better build quality etc.
The less i say about blue flame the better. A baffle will in theory have no effect on the perfomance of the bike. |

I've got a blue flame evo, sounds good but its lost a rivet out of it, also some people have had problems getting the hi level ones to fit
As for the removable baffles, I cant tell the difference performance wise with them in or out, it sounds much better with both the baffles out If I had the money I would get the akroprovic system, much better product..

What everyone else has said, go for Akroprovic.
To many people on this board have had endless problems, and bad service. |

Its not a fair comparison really. Are slip on Akro's available??
I liked my Blueflame. Didnt like the look of the Akro however good. Yoshi is another idea. |

Akra costs more than twice what the blueflame does though, since it's a system...

got a full akra on my 2000, titanium can with removable baffle. not really tried it with the baffle in so cant say what the difference the baffle makes except it makes it almost as quiet as stock. not had it dyno'd either...yet. full system cost me near on £600
