This has been asked before, but there wasn't really a definitive answer given. So I shall ask again :P
My pads are nearly knackered. I need new ones ![]() For the standard Suzuki disks (providing I can get a right hand one which isn't warped - please PM me if you have a disk or disks in decent nick), what are the best brake pads for broad usage. For me that means anything from commuting in the ****ing rain/snow, to hooning about on a track in the height of summer. I'm not too fussed about wear rates, just want a good all round pad. Wouldn't go amiss if they were cheap aswell.... ![]() Cheers Dan. |

I have just installed EBC HH pads, only got about 100 miles on them but they seem to be a lot more effective than the oem pad.
They do not feel as vague. don't get me wrong the oem pad does a good job, but I felt it did not give me confidence that I would actually stop in the distances I had available when muppets pull out on me. The OEM was good for normal riding but I just felt something was lacking under very heavy braking

Yep, I've been very impressed by the EBC HH's... I've not found any downsides in 3000 miles with them on. Didn't bother with the rear, don't really see any point.

I used EBC HH and found that they dragged the disc causing disc wear. I then changed to carbone lorraine street pads, found no deteriation in performance and no dragging of the disc. They are also slightly cheaper.

A vote for EBC HH from me....
Like Viney said Carbon's are supposed to be good too, I'm gonna try them next to compare |
