Default ZX636 shock

I've just bought this...
ZX636 shock

After much searchin and read though many forum entries I decided that it was my best choice for a new shock. Almost had a info overload, what with all the spring rates and lenghts to think about. But now it should be ariving tomorrow. Bike is all sat up and ready for me to start, after I've ceased the front brakes.

I have one just like that, also sitting in the garage waiting to go on.

Be good to share some info on fitting and set up etc.

I will have to wait for a rainy weekend to fit mine, and ensure I have the whole weekend free, as I want to make the install as neat as factory where possible. I can't take the bike off the road mid week as its me only form of getting about. Bollox to buses........

Some general info and pics of the upgrade on the "not so curvy" model. Best of luck to ya. Hope it turns out well. Feel free to post impressions afterward. (I realize this is for a Gixxer shock, but the general info. is universal)
