Default Does the naked SV radiator fit the faired model?

I have an '00 SVS with a holed radiator. Don't want to pay the £300 it costs for a new one, but obviously don't want to buy a 2nd hand naked SV radiator if it's not gonna fit.

Anyone know?

You might get a better response if you stick this in Biking issues The pointy models K3 + have bigger radiators so won't fit

Yes it will fit, it's the same size and the mounts are the same, the only difference is that there's no brackets for the fairing stubs on the naked bike's rad.

I've seen a nekkids rad on a faired, the fairing doesn't rattle or anything like that, so if you can't get the appropriate rad you could go that way.

Well I've just realised, the faired model has holes on the fairing which mount onto lugs on the radiator, the naked radiator doesn't have these mounting points.

Shame, thought I'd just saved myself £200 on ebay

Thanks for that, good to know it would do at a pinch but any future buyer's just gonna knock me down the price of a rad come sale time. Think I'd rather take the hit for a new one and have the shop fit it.

Cheers

That's not correct. There are holes in the RADIATOR that lugs on the fairing mount into.
