i was looking at my bike today and thinking what would be the best way to cut the oe exhaust system,my foot peg and rear brake assembly are in the way.i have been told that a hack saw does the job and also a angle grinder but i dont think i have the room to fit either into the gap i have, the cut has to be 45mm from the welded joint.
do i have to remove the exhaust or could i just lye the bike on its side to get more access? i would be intrested to know how you fellow sv'ers did your can's? thanks daz |

Just take off the footpeg hanger, its only held on by 2 6mm allen bolts, then thin disc on an angle grinder. Hacksaw is easy but use a NEW blade

I removed my exhaust and cut it off the bike due to space for cutting. The cutting was easy but i masnaged to snao one bolt and foung one of the bolt in the header pipe was bent. So its up to you damn suzuki bolt
