Default Please convince me why I shouldn't!

Took a ride in to Málaga this morning to my nearest Aprilia dealership. I was intending just going in and asking a question or two. When I arrived at the shop I glided outside of the window looking at what was on display. Suzuki is another make they sell and this was all I was seeing! (BTW the new Gixxer thou looks the nuts! Had a little sit on one too, very nice but not for me)
Anyways as I continued my voyeuristic peeping through the window..."Oh my god!" I thought with eyes a popping like The Mask! Quite to my surprise,(as I was under the impression they were not due in for another month) there was a gorgeous 2005 RSVR MIlle in red.(Instant stirring in the pants!) Now I don't know about you all, but the 2005 with the lions head motif on the fairing left me a little unsure. From photos I was definitely favouring the more understated 2004 plain version.
However I got to tell you in the flesh it looks FANTASTIC!
When I finally pulled myself together I went inside and chatted to the sales guy.I sat on that baby and man I got to say it feels soooooo nice.Definitely a sit in rather than sit on kind of feeling.
José has put on the table a great deal for me and I am very, very tempted! He has not seen my SV but I have assured him that it is in 100% A1 condition,(and strangely enough it is! )
The deal is €5500 for my SV and with a €600 reduction on the MIlle at the moment too!
I have to say that services every 3k km does not impress me,but I am struggling to argue myself out of it! If the kite I am expecting comes in before the end of the month,I could be taking my son to the Jerez Moto GP on a brand new Aprilia.
Please tell me I am making a mistake here?!

Peter,

There is no comparison, power poise and sound. When I had my Falco is was pig to start any morning below zero degrees.... Can't see that happening to often in your neck of the woods (lucky b.........)

If it feels good, take it, but it will not be as comfortable as the SV, these sports bikes are bad for your back you know

.

I have always had a soft spot for them after I pulled up at a roundabout next to a guy going to work on one. I even made my SV sound better - that's the aura thing that goes with it!

Oh, did I forget to say something? Get the Mille!
