Default K5 here at last

1 word.........WOW and thats before I've ridden it.

Finally got my bike last night. It wasn't delivered until around 8.30 but I must say I am over the moon with it.
I only got a chance to ride it down my driveway and do a turn at the top of the cul de sac before putting it back in the garage.

The sun was shining today but unfortunately I never got out on it as I had consumed rather a lot of alcohol last night in celebrating the arrival and I felt a tad dodgy today. Roll on tomorrow.

It gave me a chance to fit my Bikesliders which were an absolute gift to fit and look the dogs. Also fitted the tank pad, nerve racking or what? although it is on central.
Gloss gaurded the paintwork which is a product I use on my car that puts a protective coating on the paint and applied Scottoiler FS365 everywhere (except brakes and tyres, of course).
I thought this stuff dried in. I ended up having to go over the frame and some bodywork with a cloth to remove surplus. I think I'll keep it to the engine and hard to reach areas next time.

So thats everything in order, now time to ride. Tomorrow defo.
I'll post pics once I get a chance.

Oh, and I've finally been able to update my signature.
Joined in December and only now can I add my BIKE details.

You know, even that feels good, to say that I am now a proud owner of an SV.

Coincidence - picked mine up yesterday. Since I'm now in bed with flu its looks like it will sit in the garage all easter
I was quite chuffed to find out it comes with 2 year warrentee and 1 year AA, they never mentioned that when I ordered it, nor the optimate wiring under the seat - or is that just my dealer?

Optimate wiring?

First time I've seen a blue K5, not sure if I prefer the black or silver frame. Looks good on the black bike obviously. Black frame would look dopey on a silver SV if they even do a Silver K5?

I liked the look of the K4 but I think the black frame on the K5 makes it look v nice.
