Default Link pipe compatability

Right, i'm interested in rob chester's Scorpion zorst which was originaly on his K3 first gen ugly pointy, i have the far superior K2, the last and the best carbed curvy model :P . He says that the link pipe from his K3 (ugly pointy) would also fit my lovely curvy K2. My question is this, does anyone know from experience or know for certain that the two are compatible. Also does anyone happen to have a hi level link pipe knocking around that might fit.

I have just fitted a new can with connector pipe to my SVS K3, when it came the invoice stated that the link pipe was for a 99-02 SV. I queried this with the company and they said that the link pipe is the same!!

Just remember that some highlevel cans are shorter than thier low level equivilents, So if mounting a lowlevel can on a highlevel pipe, it may stick out, a lot!

The can is a high level model anyway spudnuts, so itll be fine with a high level pipe, but similarly be fine for low level usage too.

I'd hope for £70 Wolf could get their act together and manage to send the right thing. I paid £40 for one in November ish time, and they sent the wrong one, and then sent me one which was right-ish.

I say right ish, told them the can I had was 450mm long, and they assured me it would fit fine, put it on the bike, and the can protruded out the back something rotten.

I bit the bullet and shortened the can.

Probs would have been cheaper and easier to sell my can and buy a decent secondhand hi-level designed for the job. Ho-hum, you live and learn.
