I've had a few posts on the other forums but havn't intoduced myself here yet and being a Bristol boy I thought i might as well say 'Hi'

I'm currently living in Southmead with my girlfriend at the moment (no i'm not a chav).

Do you guys meet up for rideouts at all ?

Hello although Im sure we have communicated before

We used to meet up a bit but less so of late, although you probably know about the ride this weekend, are you coming? Im sure this will spark off some more regular rideouts etc. Just needs someone to say when and where really.
Loads of scope around Bristol.

I would love to meet this weekend for the ride but have a small problem - i failed my test last thursday so have a bike but no licence DOH !

Booked the retest for early next month though

Silly U-Turns - shame i havn't got the 125 anymore to practice

Are there many from the bristol area then Rich that meet up ?

Well a few on and off, but as many just over the bridge as well who we sometimes used to meet up with. However there's more and more appearing. A few of us dont have SVs now.
Shame you cant make saturday, but Im sure it will spark off future events.
Personally I used to ride with Monkey and Term a bit after work up the wye valley and through the mendips etc in the evenings...very nice. Probably will start that off again as soon as the weather settles down. So there wil be things happenning. Bad luck with the test.

Bad luck on the test - You'll fly thru' next time, then you'll be ready for the annual ride out.

I'm already thinking about the next ride-out, perhaps somewhere in Somerset/Devon, so that we can meet up with the extreme southerners.

Well when i pass and anyone is going for a rideout send me a message as i would like to go out to new areas to improve my confidence.

Yes please, down to Exmoor, Porlock Hill, Lynton Lynmouth, thorugh the moors, round vis Dunster maybe. Nice rooads although so many 40 limits Bridgewater to Minehead now

Did some nice roads down there running in the GS.

However cant beat the Welsh borders and Herefordshire. Far less limits there, lovely roads...
