Default Eyeball - Hartside

Spotted a blue SV k3 coming from Alston toward Crook just before 12 and a yellow k2 was parked up in the car park just after 12. Didnt see whose it was.

I went thru alston just before 12 (ish) but mine is red with yellow fighter screen.
Only saw one sv all day, blue one 2 up, curvy shape.

Good rideout today , i think i will go earlier as the roads seem to get busier after mid day.
Went thru the "stang" to Reeth on the way home, last time i was up there was 15 years ago on a GPZ750 turbo, roads havent changed a bit, still crap everywhere and no road maintenance.

Default north pennines

went up to Hartside myself yesterday for the first time - great ride up the A6 to Penrith and up the hill to the cafe. From Hartside went into Alston and headed off towards Stanhope - eyeballed a pair of blue SV's heading towards Alston (late morning) - hi to you both!
From Stahope went into Middleton and then on to Brough, Sedburgh, Kirkby Lonsdale and home to Preston. A great 200 mile round trip!
Excellent weather and a rare treat getting over into C Durham.
Must do it again sometime!

That was probably me, I was out and about Sunday afternoon (and on Saturday morning) trying out my newly fitted scottoiler. Went up to Whitby first (Hi to Bluebell) and then down to Pickering and around the Helmsley area. Saw a few curvy and pointy SV's. Great biking weather!!
I wish I had cleaned my chain off properly before I fitted the scottoiler....chain grease all over the back wheel...Doh!!
