What do you think about mirrors on bikes.

I sometimes found that when i did not have them on it made me look properly before i moved, when i do have them i am a bit lax with them.

Do you think it would be wrong to take them off permantly?

Its just an idea from my experiance when i did not have them on due to first off at the start of the year. I do now.

Is it not illegal to have no mirrors?

That aside, surely you must have the self discipline to do all your observations properly?? If not, perhaps more training would be in order. You'd be seriously p'ed off for being 'lax' if you got knocked off and seriously injured.
Keep the mirrors and just learn to do the observations properly.

No mirrors are for for chavs on thier scoots mate. I have been know to ride with one mirror folded in, but use them when i need too
