Default For those who are strapped for cash

Don't know if any of you have bought today's Daily Mirror

I know i know...it's a tatty tabloid...however, just been the local "bing bong" (indian). And they happened to have a copy.

Cut to the chase Mass...

There's a mag in there for Lidl shops. Don't laugh. But they mag has some bike gear (about 3 -4 pages worth) in the back. Ok some of the stuff doesn't look too promising, but they've got

Boots - £19.00
Cheap lid - dont know how much?
cold killer socks - £8
Tank bag £6

they may be a pile of horse sh!t but
worth a look if you're strapped for the cash.

There's some stuff that might be worth having, like a cheap rain suit or, for one of us only, spiderman pyjamas.

£20 lid

Still, not all Lidl stuff is junk. My halogen spotlight and toolbox are both from there and they work great and were dirt cheap to boot.

Anyone looking to get something from here, be warned they tend to go very quickly and not all stores will have it in stock.

That £20 back protector looks tempting.

Ah, dammit.... i thought they might be in my size for a mo there

Those 12 touring maps seem like a bit of a bargain too. In fact i'm amazed by some of the prices there.

As an alternative try these from Tchibo...that strange coffe shop/ discount goodies shop.

i bought my thermals from them for £6.99 for a full 2 pice and thet are really well made too.

its a new section so the selection is limited at the moment but they plan to add more too it they say.

I just bought a cycle comuter from there at £12.99. It monitors heart rate and temperature. Closest to it is 40 quid in the bike shops!

Ahhh...forgot to add the bit that says...

"Not available until 14th April".

Still, it gives you time to raid the piggy bank

Or wait for the (50p) electric man to arrive and ye Mam to give you some of the leftovers

Or better still...oh I dunno

Or better still.... rob a bank with not much money in it so you have to spend it wisely?
