Default Jumpy tach, possible fix

Ok, I have a stock tach on my 2000 SV, and during the last race it kept jumping around a lot. Usually, when the bike gets around 8K or 9K rpm, it would jump to redline, then drop down around 4K or so and bounce around for a while before returning to life a few seconds later.

After taking it apart, I think I found the problem. There is a capacitor missing from the circuit board. Now if I just knew what size it was so I could fix it...

Anyone have a stock tach from a 99-02 SV that they can take apart real quick?? All I need to know is the capacitance (in µF) and voltage printed on the side...

Here's a picture of where it should be:

Anybody? pleeeeease?

when I bought the bike, only the tach was present. The speedo had been separated from the tach and ditched, so there was a big hole in the side of the tach housing. I suppose it rattled loose and fell out at some point. I thought about just buying a new stock tach, but the cheapest I can find is about $100, and there's no way I'm going to pay that if I can fix this one myself.
