It's a 600F with a 2 piece seat and different sprocket (and it looks like an RR2 FireBlade, but smaller).

Faster 0-60 than the RR, better in the wet and more comfortable. The RR is ace on the track though..... Good competent bike, almost bought one once....

well, kinda like the CBR600RR but a tiny bit more inclined towards the roads rather than the track.
not much difference between the CBR600F and the CBR600Fs apart from the s has the 2 seats.

brilliant bikes, made to last, been around since the dawn of time so not many problems to iron out.

never gave me any probs starting in sub zero tempretures, pretty maintenance free,

here is mine

the only visible difference is paintjobs and the double seat between my F1 and the Fs

how come ? thinkin of buying one ?

im not very good at reveiwing things . . .so prob best if you just ask me questions about em.

Good bikes and very well built. The F1 (like Warren's) has a centre-stand whereas the FS does not. Not much in it - IMHO the FS looks a tiny bit better but the F1 is probably easier to live with from a practicality perspective.

Nice, comfy roadbikes and surprisingly good on a track, I believe.

Did a test ride, and I can say that the fuel lights are very pessimistic!

Seriously though, it's comfy for a sports bike, stable and well manered. I rode it mainly on the motorway and to be honest at 70 it didn't seem to matter what gear I was in. The torque low down is ok so it's fairly easy for town riding.

In the end I decided that the SV was a better option for me. This was basically due to the cost, the insurance and the sewing machine engine. The upside is that there are loads of them around so you can get exactly what you want. For example Dobles on the A23 had 15 low milage '02 - '04 models to choose between, all for less than 5k. It's not often that you get a choice of colours for a test ride!

The difference between the F and FS is the pillion seat shape. The F looks like a VFR seat with a rear grab rail, the FS looks like an R1 seat, with only a small strap. You can guess which is going to be more comfortable for the unfortunate on the back.

Not that this bothers most people but the F also has a Centre stand for ease of chain maintainance etc...

I thought it had a good motor, handled really well and was good fun, the brakes were strong, and it was well ballanced....

However: The fuel guage is a pessamistic lying meanie, You couldn't turn the lights off on the one I rode and I found I sat locked "into it" which feels secure but made it hard for me to hang off it at all.....

Damn good bike though....

i beg to differ about being able to turn the lights off.

all the ones ive seen have the same cockpit setup as mine (where you can turn the lights off)

ALL new bikes for the last couple of years have dipped beam tied into the ignition. If it hasn't it's an import....
