Default CCC Oval for £110

Saw this on e-bay. Oval s/s single port CCC for £110.
Is it a good price? The can is new.

it's certainly not a bad deal.
I think he's wrong when he says it fits all years, though.
The one in the pic is a K3. It's possible (some people have mentioned it) that a link pipe will fit K3 and older, but the K4 is different. CCC do sell the link pipe for the K4 for £45 delivered, btw.

I bought one off eBay from CCC. They sent it without the strap, but that was sorted pretty sharpish. Then when I fitted it last weekend I found that the link pipe was not correct. It makes the can kick out at quite and angle. The only way to use the link pipe it came with was to remove the pillion foot peg hanger and have the can point up towards the sky! Great if you want to collect rain water.

The guy I have been in constant contact there is Simon and I emailed him late on Sunday night not expecting to receive a reply till the very earliest Monday afternoon. But would you believe it he replied and said that he would get one in the post that would sort it or they would make one to sort the problem out.

So at the moment I am waiting for the new link pipe to arrive in the post. Lets hope I have good news to report about these guys. I'd like to say they have been pretty good so far.

Will post when I have more news.
Greg

The CCC pipes do stick out a bit, anyway, even with alot of fiddling about. Mine isn't severe, I'll post a pick soon.

P.S. I don't have a CCC can, just the link pipe

AFAIK the link pipe is same for all models but there are different hanger brackets. Check out following thread for pics of different ones. The K4 needs C-shape. If it kicks out too much or doesn't fit comfortably, you were probably supplied P-shape.
