Will this be ok ? Front: Bt10 rear: Metzler Z6
I only need to replace my rear tyre. Running Bt10s at the moment (Sorry if this is a dumb question but it's my first tyre change ![]() |

I wouldn't. The Z6 rear has a bald centre strip that the Z6 front caters for by having a very efficient tread pattern that disperses the water (apparently).
Better off junking the 010 (which has to be worn) and getting a brand new set of Z6s IMHO. . |

Experts please have a look!
Do i need to replace my front tyre aswell ? Or can i go with: leaving the front tyre (BT010) and replace the rear with a BT014 ? front: ![]() rear ![]() Many thanks |

There's a little life left in the front but it's obviously worn and has small cracks in the rubber etc and won't do you any favours. If you're putting on 014s go for the pair (but don't expect them to last too long).

no i was only going for the 014's if i could have left the front tyre....
