None of the site's graphics were showing before... their images directory contained nothing but GZ files.
Apparently a new website in development though!

I know it wouldn't work properly in Firefox before - I had to view it in IE to see it properly

It was /is norton or any other add blocking software blocking those pictures.
Once you turn it off the site worked/works fine! |

I don't have Norton, and it didn't work on any machine I tried.
The site works fine now, as I've been in contact with the Webmaster explaining the problem.... ... which was, the JPG's and GIF's didn't exist in the site's images folder.

strange!
Well it always worked in Firefox/Mozilla. In IE i had to disable add blocking to view the images.... |

Firefox, may have the ability to unpack GZ files... but generally speaking this is not a job for a browser.
Mozilla is just a browser engine, which Firefox users... IE also uses the Mozilla engine, as do most web-browsers.
