You have to mess about with fuses for the LED indicators. It's not really a problem, especialy if you prefer the look though. If you're not fussed, get normal bulbed 'cators.

I fitted the led rear tail lights with built in indicators to my K4 last night. It was a straight fit. Havent heard of any problems with leds personally.

my rear indicators are LED triangles in carbon fibre and were a direct swap!

Most LED indicators will need a resistor fitted in parallel with them to get them to flash at the same rate as a bulb - not fitting one will cause them to flash very fast. Also, a normal LED on it's own will normally need an extra resistor in series with it to ensure that the voltage is brought down to the correct one for the LED (most LEDs cannot handle 12v). A lot of LED indicators will have this oe built in, and some will come with the parallel resistor as well - depends which one you get.

Even without the kits they are very easy to fit with minimal electronics knowledge.

gotta be honest, i thought led's would be brighter than standard indicators, there not as visible during the day, but brighter in the evening.

do indicators need to be orange to pass MOT???

I saw a mod that someone did and fitted the indicators in the rear footrests with LEDS. Was thinking of doing that.,

i dont think so, as you can get clear LED ones that are E-marked.

i could be wrong tho.
