I have one under my rear seat. I put a 5a fuse inline to the batter along with a switch. Used to use it for the pump for my airbed.

Thanks guys.
I saw the one in Maplins, but wasn't sure if it was the whole kerbuggings or just the outer sleeve. I'll pop over to our Maplins during the week. ![]() |

I did the same, put it under the rear seat and got it from maplin. Heated socks work great

Maplins is probably easiest. An in-line fuse is highly desirable to avoid the possibility of frying the bike.
![]() In case anyone needs a DIN type plug/socket as used by BMW and Honda (I believe), they can be got here (also do the standard ciggy lighter types) http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.c.../switch-3.html |

A din plug socket from BMW will cost you about £48, from Maplins the same thing is about £4.80.
Halfords do them also. I use them in my truck for fridges and kettles |

Mine came from Maplins, with a cover on it. It's wired into the front brakelight switch feed with an in-line fuse. It sits in the cockpit for easy access.

I would pop an in line fuse (about 10A) if I were you.
I am thinking of fitting one myself (charge the mobile on the way to work) |
