Default Bridgestone, Continental or Metzler?

Those seem to be the most popular choices for the SV at the moment.

I'm just bored and curious

Out of those I voted for the Road Attacks. I've got an 020 rear on atm and I don't really like it that much. I haven't tried the Z6 yet, though.

I want the Z6's... when I get the money. Stuck on the Dunlop originals now and over 5000 miles, so I can't see it being too long. Was impressed by the thread where Rictus was testing them out, though that's largely due to being a skinflint cancerian and the thought of getting 13000 miles is appealing. The perfformance of them all seems similar from what I've read... just that 13000 miles... mmm :P

From reading reviews it was between the Z6's and road-attacks. The road-attacks won because they're prettier

The road-attacks won because they were alot cheaper

I was quoted £230 for Z6's and £155 for road-attacks It was a difficult choice...

Thanks to this site, and your posts, I knew what tyres to get for my SV and what I should be paying for them Thank you

I would consider the 020 almost obsolete now we are spoiled by the Contis and the Z6s, not that they are a poor tyre, simply that we now have better more modern stuff, and in the case of the Contis at least cheaper too.
