|
Help bit dropped off Part 2
Does anyone recognise what this nut is from?
It was on the Garage floor after I had fitted some R&G CRash protectors. Obviously I am concerned because I had the engine bolt out. Anyone got any ideas?

A picture of the nut concerned would help!
 I take it they were the new R&Gs that require you to have the bar that goes through the engine out and the bolt on either side (to the front of this)? |

No no no.
It appeared on the floor after I had slid the engine bolt out to put the R&G one in for the crash protectors. It could be from anywhere on the bike. It might not even be off the bike. I wondered if anyone recognised it? |

Northwind you are a legend thanks.
As for me, well I am a total nob. It was the bolt from the bottom of my torque wrench. Don't I feel a right fool now! Oh well the first of many mistakes modding my new bike

 We all make mistakes and it helps when you have such a wealth of friendly knowledge on here. Certainly didn't recognise that myself. |
