I've got the original chain on my SV, it's now done 11.5km and is still going fine with no kinks and no stretching. How long will it go for, given it's now five years old and gets oiled pretty frequently?

Rictus made a chain last 44k I believe but this was with the use of a Scottoiler.

I got 18k miles out of my original, but that is with a scotoiler. To be fair the chain had loads of life in it and the adjusters had hadly been turned. In the end it was the hooking of the sprockets that made me replace the chain (and of course the sprockets.
