Front end conversion - SV650.org

Ok my wheel is fine on my SV400S (same as 650) so will take another disk happly

What size are ur calipers on 650? what size are the front disks?

Are there any specialist sv650 breakers sites u know of?

will i need a new front break lever or anything seeing as it will have to run 2 disks now, what will i need?

Or how about what other bikes front end fits on? Should i go for better parts or will they be alot more expensive? General advice plz would be great.

And whats all this about a ZX9R front end fitting on? This true?

I don't know what the differences are between the 400 and 650 in that much detail, but I suspect that all you'd need hardware-wise is a new disc, a left hand fork leg slider, caliper and hose plus fittings, and maybe a new master cylinder. Is the one caliper you have the same as the standard SV one?

ZX9R front end I'd not heard about- it's fairiy straightforward, if not exactly easy, to attach a GSXR front end to an SV though. But not cheap either.

cheers yet again northwind. Can someone tell me what size disks are on sv650? i think mine alot bigger tho

basicaly i want the twin disks realy just for the looks more than the breaking (tho my breaks are ****e now iv actualy ridden her) so any conversion that gives me 2 disks.

what should i go for?

SV discs are 290mm.
