Default Knee to ground???

Help!!!!

I want/MUST get my knee down at some point but it seems to be impossible!!! I have gone round and round and round roundabouts building up my speed leaning over further with my **** hanging off the seat and my knee stuck out but the stupid thing wont touch down!!!

After 3 years of riding you would have thought it possible!

Any tips from anyone would be much appreciated

Pedrosis,

It should be easy for you, you're only a little bit shorter than me.

What you need make sure you dont do is slide around the tank as this just makes it harder and further to lean. You should have one cheek off and then put you right foot as far back on the peg (assuming you are doing rounabouts) and just stick your knee out towards a 90~ angle with as much space between your thigh and tank to start with. Dont however look down to see how far you away you are THE LAW of sod dictates that the moment you do this, a Tanker will pull onto the round about in front of you
. As you get more confident and believe me you will, as i find myself using any excuse, left, right-handers, T-junctions, large Traffic lighted cross roads, they're all there just begging to be scrape'd

Sparkies were invented to show off after all

The trick isnt just to get your bum off the seat. You have to "hook" the tank with the one knee which helps to bring the bike down and hold you on. Then stick your other knee out.

Do lack flexibility? Try some stretching.

I thought the sparks from the titanium sliders made it obvious enough
