Its about right. I paid £70 for mine, and also did a bit of shopping around but couldnt get them cheap enough to warrant paying p+p (picked them up from a local dealer).
Would like to know if anyone knows of somewhere selling R&G stuff cheaper as id like a few of there other products. |

"Allegedly"
![]() The new ones seem very solid, they're pretty ugly, and they certainly worked when I managed to jump off at 5mph ![]()

I spoke to R&G at Beaulieu Motorcyle World yesterday, no show discounts, listed at £69.99 for a "curvey" and they didn't bring any along. Only benefit from ordering at the show was free p&p.
The guy I spoke did admit there was a problem with the earlier design (the plastic bung tends to pop out of the alloy cup when used in anger!). Steve |

I had some R & G's on (the old style) when i got knocked off 2 weeks ago at 35mph - they saved the bike completely, and i got away with a broken gear peg, mirror and fairing scratches, even though i ground along a kerb - i can't recommend them enough. It did pop out of the alloy cup, and the new ones i have are different, and have 2 attachment points each side, and look more sturdy, although they aren't very attractive, they are so worth it.

I just dont like the way they bend easily, even in most of their adverts they show a crashed bike with the protector at 45 degrees to where it used to be, great for ovaling holes.
I use Moko's and never had a problem, nicely machined alloy base that fits tightly in the frame with a wider base to take the impact |
