Braking on a turn that you are running wide will make you run wider. (b.c the bike will likely stand up)

Mentally/physically relaxing before each turn helps. [Somebody else mentioned this recently, and I used to do it all the time...] Before quick turns (which they will all seem like in the beginning) while holding onto the bars, flap your arms from the elbows (like doing the dance called the Funky Chicken ) to make sure that you are not going into turns with your upper body stiff.

In my early miles, when I thought I was running wide, "The Fear" would overtake my upper body, and my outside arm would not stay limber which would stiffen up the front end, causing me to run more wide...

So, keep your mental edge, well, dull, in a way and learn to ride through a precarious situation - which is not the same as reacting to it...

At low speed yes, pretty much. Try to use the front brake though.

I wouldn't go that far... But i can stop mine almost dead in 120mish from 90MPH . Depends what gear you're in as to how harsh it will be though. Higher gear.... Less harsh. Just be aware that when you do use the engine braking (and you will) that no brakes lights show, so numpty in tin can behind you might not cotton on that you're slowing down as quick .
