Default sparky sliders

got a set of sparky toe sliders cos i'm scraping my boots to bits when commuting on my transalp. as a result, i need to apolagise to any road users behind me on roundabouts/ bends cos its scaring the absolute hell out of drivers (normally builders vans). i'm in fits of laughter when i go barreling up to corners with a car/van stuck right up behind me, but as soon as the sliders touch down, they send loads of sparks back which makes drivers have kittens. bit silly and childish but i just cant help myself!!

that's why they don't allow them on track days - nor sparkly knee sliders, which is a pity for those who wear through plastic toe and knee sliders quickly on track days.

Have you try getting hold of an original replacement toe slider these days? "Sorry mate we've none in stock, I could order some for you though..."

Maybe I should just move my feet or get some rear-sets.

I thought that was because the metal rods damaged the tarmac.

Hmmm, I've heard a couple of trackday organisers say that it scares following riders, previously I thought it was because it damaged the track - maybe it's both?
