Default Remus Revolution Mounting

Hi all,

Just received a Remus Revolutuiton high level exhaust (courtesy of Chris SVK3 )

Ques: am I always going to have to ride with my foot covering the brake pedal, which is the only position it can be in, as when I try to put the ball of my foot on the peg my heel rests on the exhaust .

I beleive there is low level link pipe solution, if so will I need a different exhaust hangar bracket/clamp as well.
Your esteemed wisdom is awaited. (Cloggsy IIRC you had both configurations so hoping you are able to help).

Yup, if you put the balls of your feet on the pegs with the Remus high-level on, it does melt your boots My Sidi Blackrains are testiment to that

The low-level didn't, but I ain't go that any more (might have to ask Richie1743 for it back if he doesn't mind...) I do prefer how the high-level looks TBH anyway...

Make a heatshield up, or get one made up. It wont solve the problem of your feet touching the link pipe, but it wil stop it melting your boots.

I find when I wear my Wrangler boots they ocassionally rub on the link pipe (its a wolf one), but have never had any problem with my SMX-Plus's rubbing it, although the way they are shaped makes them clear it I spose.

And before you mention tootsie toes, I'll mention my feet are size 13

Danno.

I find that if you move your foot out slightly towards the end of the peg it's okay, just something you have to get used to. After doing nearly 20k with a high-level Remus I now don't have a problem although admit that at first it was a little awkward.
