Default Hills and biking = take off feeling :-)

Anyone else get this?

Accelerate hard up a long bouncy hill - bike feels like it's taken off and heading into the sky. Wonderful!

Front wheel much higher than the back in my case.
Nicely landed the back well before the front and held the wheelie for all of a few feet.
Felt fantastic.

Surely not sir!

Fun though, wasn't it?

One of the advantages of doing the route the day before (on the Saturday) was knowing when it was coming up and dropping a gear and accelerating off it. I didn't get very high (probably only a few inches) but it was definately off the deck.

My second favourite road has a good stretch where there's not a jump as such (you'd have to hit it at silly speeds to get airborn), but just as the upward momentum of the ramp up bit dies down, the flat you've been on drops away, creating a weightless sensation for half a second or so before the bike settles.
