Default Picked up my SV650S this morning

My story:-

It's taken 3 weeks, but I've already told that story on this site.

This morning 09:48:23 (not that I was checking) I arrived for my bike - scottoiler still not fitted correctly mech told me he's done hundreds this way cos they clog when you do it like the manual? Doh! - I'll put it right myself.

Dealer couldn't give me the wiring diagram for the £300 alarm I had fitted - said they didn't get one in the pack but 'they know how to fit these alarms' then tried to tell me the 'P' button was for panic - I'd already read the user manual - it's for passive mode on the movement sensor so you dont keep alarming in petrol stations, when cleaning ect.

Decided I was going nowhere fast so ended talking as fast as politely possible - salesman finished by telling me the last bike out (brand new Bandit 1200) had been dropped 200 yards from door 'cos the rider didn't listen when told the tyres needed scrubbing in for at least 150 miles.
Got my tyre pressure guage out - got some strange looks from mech, salesman and the bloke that moves the bikes around, the mech screwed his face up in disbelief and asked me if everything was ok - I didn't make a scene (I have to go back for service) but front was 38psi and rear 42psi, no wonder the bandit lost it, dropped pressures to 33/36 quietly.

And that was it (almost) - said I'd be going off right (uphill) - so salesman pushed bike out to left (downhill) - I had my lid on by now so he didn't see what I mouthed. And I was away - stalled at the second junction, scottoiler moved in wind and started oiling road - But what a rush - this bike felt like it was part of me, I only had to think and look and I was there - Suzuki have got this spot on.

I did 35 miles round town - uphill/downhill (engine braking) changing frequently, revving to the 5000 limit in all gears, then it was off to Wales - straight to the horseshoe pass for coffee - up to this point 5000 revs in 6th on the flat returned 62mph, then off to Betws-y-coed - 5000rpm/6th = 65mph, over Denbigh moore and back towards home 180 miles last stretch 5000rpm/6th = 69/70mph ( I hope this means I'm running the bike in right, I couldn't always stay below 5000rpm but anything over was quick and not often (nothing over 6000rpm)

Back home I cleaned off the bugs and put the bike away - can't wait till tomorrow, weather permitting I'm back off to Wales, Stwlan dam and Trawsfynid to Bala road.

Fallen in love with my SV (pocket rocket)

According to the North Wales Police you're a disgusting renegade and should be locked up for a long, long time.

Watch out for the thunderstorms tomorrow.

Great to hear you finally got the bike but your dealer sounds a total ****!

Am getting mine next week so will be watching your posts to see how things go for you....ride safe

So 33 and 36 psi are the correct pressures....wonder what mine will be at
