Default I've got that viiiibe!!

Hi there,

Does anyone else suffer from numb fingers when they are out on a run? I got back from Knockhill a wee while ago and the only way I could stop getting dead fingers was to constantly change my grip.

Advice please

It is a well known design defect of the new shape (pointy) SVS. It
has been discussed endlessly on this web site but there is really
not much you can do about it.

throttle bodies need balancing could be an option to reduce vibes, but not by very much.

One way to ease the problem is to fit thicker foam bar grips. These absorb some of the vibes at the expense of a bit of feel.A bit like wearing winter gloves.

Is the bike an pointy or a curvy?
Do you have an 'N' or an 'S'?
Is the bike completely standard, ie 'bars, 'bar ends?
How old/how many miles?

I used to get it a lot, solved by not leaning on the bars as much.

Yes, I found that too. Relax your grip on the bars (a bit!) and try to use your back to support your weight rather than leaning on the bars.

Glynmitch: You've not been a tart and fitted carbon bar ends, have you?
