I have had my Arai Astro J now for just under a year during which I have had the chin strap replaced due to fraying (Arai did this under warrantee)
However I've just replaced the visor and what do you know, the left hand side shield has a broken clip, this clip is part of the moulding so I rang Jbs where I bought the helmet from hoping to get a replacement under warrantee but guess what, its not covered and I will have to purchase a replacement pair although they have just told me that they will get a price for me! and ring me back. MMmmm Anyone else had this problem? |

it's a very very common problem with arai. Unless you get the visor removal technique spot on it can easily snap.
It's not covered by the guarantee because it's classed as user error. and they're about £25 if i remember rightly. |
