I've got an American friend, who's an experienced biker, coming over in late August. I'd like to take him out, maybe lending him my son's bike (also has an SV650).
Does anyone know if I can get him insured for, say, a weekend ? Cheers Keith |

It's certainly possible; a bloke I know insured an American chum of his for 10 days to ride his bike when he visited from the States a few weeks agao. That was with Carol Nash, however it was a classic bike policy.

Does his own insurance not cover him for riding abroad?

What about just insuring it here for any rider? then cancel it when he has gone?
When Jenn the Biker came over last year she hired an SV from London, then came up here to watch the GP |
